Talk Talk the beginning
The Carphone Warehouse's acquisition of Opal Telecom in November 2002 gave it its own switching network providing access to BT Wholesale's landline network. Working with an agency called FranFab to create the brand we worked closely to try and create a brand that wasn't as corporate as BT's.
At first the proposition was only landline and broadband services. Soon after a mobile proposition was added to the service. The quick changes to the brand required a lot of redesigns to the website as the product and the brand grew as you can see from the screenshots. As I became art director of The Carphone Warehouse the TalkTalk website fell under my control too. The excellent inhouse dev team built all the versions of the site and we were able to do quick site releases when needed.
