Junior Designer to Art Director
I joined The Carphone Warehouse as junior designer and six years later I was the online art director and running an inhouse design team of six. Working closely with the marketing team and the print team we tied together the in store point of sale, the buyers guide and the online website to create a complete brand experience across the board.
It was a very exciting time to be working in e-commerce especially in the mobile phone industry. The technology was new and The Carphone Warehouse was at the forefront trying to help customers get better deals by showing multiple manufacturers brands and mobile networks.
Looking at some of these handsets now it certainly shows how fast this industry has grown in the last ten years.
