A football Facebook game

Power Challenge decided to get into the craze of facebook gaming and as that was what the company did best it was an exciting project to work on.

Footy! was designed using mouse based controls a click and pass vs the traditional keyboard.

I was responsible for the UI design and we hired a very talented illustrator to design the Footy! player.

The game numbers were doing well but soon after the launch Facebook changed their gaming policy which meant it was a lot harder to monetise games like this one and we all lost our jobs. A hard lesson to learn but a valuable one no the less. We used the facebook platform because there were a lot of players on there but in the end that is what killed us.
